Why have I been given a cheque refund instead of a cash refund or refund back to my card?
If you pay for your order in store by cash, or by credit or debit card using chip and PIN at the Shop Your Way till point or on Browse and Order, we won't have stored your card details, so we can only refund you by cheque. If you place your order through another channel, such as our website or mobile application, your details are held and so we are able to refund directly to the card you paid with.
Despite issuing cheques when refunding customers, please note we no longer accept them as a method of payment.
