How do I enable cookies?

If you want to enable cookies you need to change your website browser settings to enable cookies.  You can do this by following the instructions below, based on which browser you use.

Internet Explorer
1. On the menu at the top of the screen click ‘Tools’ then ‘Internet Options’.
2. Click on the ‘Privacy’ tab.
3. Check what setting the slider is on. If it is set to ‘Block All Cookies’ this means you may not be able to see some web pages correctly.
4. To enable cookies, move the slide to a lower setting.
5. Click ‘Apply’ then ‘OK’.
6. Refresh the page you are on and try viewing it again. 

Firefox
1. On the menu at the top left of the screen click ‘Firefox’ (or if you are using Windows XP, click ‘Tools’).
2. On the drop-down list, click ‘Options’.
3. Click on the ‘Privacy’ tab.
4. Next to the words ‘Firefox will:’ there is a drop-down menu. Select ‘Use custom settings for history’.
5. Look at the section below the drop-down menu. Click ‘Accept cookies from sites’.
6. Click ‘OK’.
7. Refresh the page you are on and try viewing it again. 

Chrome
1. On the top right of the screen click the Chrome tool icon.
2. On the drop-down list, click ‘Options’.
3. A new tab will open. On the left hand side click ‘Under the Hood’.
4. In the ‘Privacy’ section click ‘Content settings’.
5. On the page that appears, you can choose from two options. Click ‘Allow local data to be set’.
6. Refresh the page you are on and try viewing it again. 

Opera
1. On the top left of the screen click the Opera icon.
2. On the drop-down list, click ‘Settings’ then ‘Preferences’.
3. A new window will open. Click the ‘Advanced’ tab.
4. On the left hand side, click ‘Cookies’.
5. You can choose from two options. Click ‘Accept cookies’.
6. Refresh the page you are on and try viewing it again. 

Safari
1. On the top right of the screen, click the settings icon.
2. On the drop-down list, click ‘Preferences’.
3. A new window will open. Click the ‘Privacy’ tab.
4. Next to ‘Block cookies’ click ‘Never’.
5. Refresh the page you are on and try viewing it again.
